Welcome 2020

Introduction and message from our Chairperson/Réamhrá ón gCathaoirleach
In this unprecedented year, the Cashel Arts Festival team welcomes you to a festival that has been
made to measure for the times we are living through.
When we decided our theme as ‘20/20 vision’ and set about planning our programme, we had no idea how
it would have to be reimagined for 2020. Given the impact of the pandemic on all of us and our belief in
the positive transformative power of the arts for all individuals, we set about cutting and sewing together a
patchwork of our original vision.
Please join us and enjoy as a community our events broadcast on local radio, our website, festival screen, zoom, social
media and our visual arts on Cashel’s streets.
Anne Marie O’Donnell, Chairperson
