Melissa Baker in her Storytelling Caravan

Out of this magical barrel top wagon float stars, sparks and more! Melissa Baker’s Storytelling Caravan is full of twisted yarns and tall tales! Old and new fuse as this “Moragolithian’ storyteller spins you from legend to leaping heart, through the keyhole of your front door into strange lands and day glow dreams, riding the hiccups of laughter like bronco bulls! Meetings with moon fairies who play star ball and rock doctors with music spells, as well as everyday dragons and monsters guaranteed!

Cashel Arts Fest is funding Melissa Baker and her storytelling caravan to attend a number of local primary schools during the festival.

About Us
Cashel Arts Festival is a 10 day festival of music, dance, visual art, theatre, comedy, talks, poetry, street performance, family and children's events.

Now in its seventh year, Cashel Arts Festival provides opportunities for all sections of the community to engage with a variety of art disciplines in an enjoyable and meaningful way.

The small voluntary committee work hard year round to bring an exciting and varied programme of events to Cashel each November.

Cashel Arts Fest 2009 has been a great success. We've marvelled at the talent of the young exhibitors in the Council Chambers, listened to the wonderful sounds of Anuna and the Cairde String Quartet, laughed with David O'Dohery and been thoroughly entertained by Wonderland Productions La Locandiera.

Thank you to all of you who took part, volunteered and helped during the festival. We're looking forward to Feile Fidelma 10th-12th September 2010 and are busy planning Cashel Arts Fest 2010!
