Cashel Arts Fest 2008 will consist of four themed weekends, commencing on Friday 31st October and running until Sunday 24th November. This year’s fest promises to be the most exiting yet and will provide opportunities for all members of the community to engage in the Arts in a meaningful and enjoyable way.

The festival incorporates a wide variety of arts events ranging from art exhibitions, drama, music, photography, film, workshops, performance, dance, architecture, and historical lectures. There is a specific Schools’ Outreach programme aimed at primary and secondary school students in the surrounding areas. These programmes culminate in performances and provide worthwhile opportunities for young people in our community to be creative in unique ways. Family events such as walking tours, music workshops and street performances are to a fore in this year’s festival.

Cashel Arts Fest Ltd is an entirely voluntary organisation and all members of the committee work in an entirely voluntary capacity year round to ensure that a varied and exiting programme of events is created for the month of November. If you wish to become involved in the committee or wish to help out at events please contact the festival e-mail address: Cashelartsfest@eircom.net. All suggestions for future festivals would also be greatly welcomed.

Further information on events can also be obtained from the e-mail address and a brochure can be forwarded to you by post or e-mailed to you in October. The festival phone will be in operation during the festival and in the two weeks prior to the fest and bookings can be made by e-mail, phone or the festival office. Details of these to follow.

Please check local press and website for amended and updated details closer to the festival.

Cashel Arts Fest Ltd would like to express their appreciation for all the sponsors of the festival and your patronage to events over the last five years.
