Art Exhibition: Animals and Birds
Pop-up Gallery – Art Trail

Art Exhibition: Animals and Birds

For the first time we have invited professional artists, sculptors, photographers and craft workers to interpret a theme. As this is the year of Craft it will be very exciting to see how this inspired works in many media. Cashel is situated in the middle of the rich limestone lands of South Tipperary. These exhibits should heighten our awareness of the animals and birds we share it with! The exhibition will be opened by Eamon Colman, member of Aosdána.

Pop-up Gallery – Art Trail

Continuing the animal and bird theme and making use of the empty commercial spaces throughout the town, this impromptu exhibition showcases eight professional and up and coming artists’ creations in a street gallery structure. Cashel will be transformed, temporarily, into a gallery space with the shop fronts doubling as a frame for the works. This method of exhibition is a vehicle through which the art experience is integrated into and shared with the community in a gentle and unforced manner, making art more accessible to everybody.

This exhibition is kindly sponsored by Cashel Blue Cheese
