It was with profound sadness that Cashel Arts Fest Committee learned of the untimely death of one of its esteemed founder members, Maureen O’Donoghue. Maureen was an encouraging voice in her belief that the people of Cashel and the surrounding areas needed a vibrant Arts organisation and ensured that all events planned had a community based focus. Her guidance, particularly in the areas of protocol and knowledge gained from her many years as a public representative, was freely given and very much appreciated. She will be missed both by the committee and the many other organisations on which she served.
Our sincere sympathy is offered to her husband Pat, son John, daughter-in-law Denise, grandchildren Pádraig and Ciara and her family.
